About Us

What is Home Again Horse Rescue?

 

Home Again Horse Rescue is a certified 501 (c) 3, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide shelter, nutrition, veterinary care and rehabilitation to horses in need.  In most cases our final goal is to place the rehabilitated animals in a permanent, approved home through our adoption program.  However, in some instances we need long term sponsorship of horses that for health or behavioral reasons have permanent residency at the rescue.

In addition to the care of the animals, we feel that a more educated public is crucial in minimizing equine abuse.  In order to make our community more aware of the prevalence and definitions of abuse, we offer scheduled farm tours to introduce the public to our facility and animals in our care.   Farm tours are also offered to schools to educate children on cruelty to animals.  If you are interested in a farm tour, please give us a call.
